I have been using the free version of Resolve and decided to go for an upgrade. It's frustrating to realise that Blackmagic has ensured that they do not want your business and they will make sure that you do not buy their product.
It is impossible to purchase and download a Resolve Studio Activation Key.
All the stores claim the product is "back ordered" and is not available for download right now.
Is Blackmagic running out of downloads or activation keys?
A user should be able to simply pay the $ 299 and buy the key.
What is the advantage of this red tape?
Can anybody help or explain?

The key is sent to resellers on a credit-sized card, so it's very possible for them to be out of stock. A few resellers (seems mostly in Europe) will open your package and email you the code, but I'm not a fan of that practice. When I buy something, I want it unopened.

With activation numbers especially, it's the best way to ensure I'm the only person to have that number.

Even i wanted to buy i last night but cant see a way to buy it.
Just for activation key why to buy from a reseller who is selling at double the price?

Hi I am having the same problem does anyone have a recommendation for purchasing an Activation Key in the UK that can also send me the code as i have a tight deadline.
