My search on this is not bring anything up.

So I am posting the question here.
I am on Windows.

In this Forum PostView,

I see button for img, button for attach,

but no direct way to attach a screenshot or drag/drop an image.

Any thoughts? tips?

Down below the message window, see the two tabs (Options and Upload attachment). Click on Upload attachment, browse to your screen shot, and click "add the file."

Then put your cursor where you want the screen shot to appear and click "place inline"

Thanks Brad. I was doing exactly what you are suggesting.

With most applications, such as office apps, paint.net you can take a screenshot
which is copied to the clipboard, and
simply paste from clipboard,
without the additional steps of saving to a file, and loading the file.

In fact I use Paint.Net (in that manner) to create the file for uploading it inline in this forum.
I was wondering about the direct method - this forum platform probably does not support it.

In my experience, most online forums don't support copy/paste of images. You need to either upload the image to the forum platform, or upload it somewhere else and link to it.

That is very true Brad.
I see this few other forums I post in.
They are all probably powered by the same platform.
I guess powers to be. have not upgraded the capabilities for various reasons.

When time permits, I may work creating a custom Context Menu (right click) which does the steps behind the scene.

Possibly some have already written this.
Need to search for it.
