Post approved, viewed, but now invisible?

Apparently I do not understand the forum apparatus. My (first) post was approved, had been viewed a number of times (30+), but now is not found in the sequence. Nonetheless I can still see the post via "View your posts." Are there instances in which a post is considered irrelevant or otherwise off-base?

Your post in the DaVinci Resolve forum is visible. What do you mean by "not found in the sequence"?

When there are many new posts, old posts gets pushed down and it might not be on the first page anymore. Or, an administrator might have moved your post from one forum to another. For example, it's not uncommon that people post DaVinci Resolve questions in the Post Production forum (for BMD hardware).

Roger, thank you. This may have been an instance of "male pattern blindness", where I cannot see what is right in front of my eyes. It will not have been the first time ...
