CFGMGR32.dll

PostWed May 26, 2021 5:32 pm

I searched the forums and no results...
People have Youtube videos but...
I'd rather the explanation - about fixing this - from the forum would be appreciated.

Computer Specs -

Windows 7 Ultimate
Intel Core i7-4710MQ CPU @ 2.5 GHz
24GB ram ( Judge Me )
64 bit operating system

GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M SLI

Pretty sure I can run it, maybe not as good as your $10,000 rig - but - I digress..

I installed it initially on my A: Drive (A is for applications, good enough for me)
Command prompt loaded and said something like delete delete delete...
scary...
And it had a different issue, something to the kin of API-MS-WIN......
SOOOoooo...
I watched a video and it said, INSTALL TO C: DRIVE...
So I did, command prompt seemed to stall, did the same thing and then... Restarted...

But, now I always get this message and I dont really want to deal with the systems .dll
Im more than positive its there, havent checked... I wanna fly the drone around today while its nice out.

Any information - videos - ect. would be appreciated...

Are we talking about cfgmgr32,dll or Resolve 17.2? If the former, you will find more information here.
https://www.dll-files.com/cfgmgr32.dll.html
If Resolve, apart from being designed to run on Win 10, then your GTX 860m is not capable of running version 17.2 as it does not support CUDA 11 or OpenCL 1.2, both of which are required. CUDA 11 became a requirement as of version 16.2.6.
Resolve Studio 18.6.5 build 7
Dell XPS 8700 i7-4790, 24GB RAM, 2 x Evo 860 SSDs, GTX1060/6GB (546.01 Studio Driver), Win10 Home (22H2), Speed Editor, Faderport mk1, Eizo ColorEdge CS230 + BenQ GW2270 + Samsung SA200, Canon C100mk2, Zoom H2n.
