Timecode Display

PostMon Dec 27, 2021 10:00 pm

Hi! I am looking for a timecode display. Thought this would be an easy task, but there really aren't many options out there. The only ones I can find are the ESE ones, which are pretty expensive and hard to find much information about. The websites states "Terminal Block" as time code input connector, not sure what that should be.

All we need is a large timecode reader that takes BNC or XLR in. If it can be mounted on a c-stand, that would be a nice bonus. If it has a "hold" button or digital input even better. Spend two hours going through google pages without any luck. Anyone has a tip?

Cheers
Valentin

Terminal block simply means individual wires terminated in screw connectors, typically by Phoenix or similar.

Thanks @leon, those are actually a lot cheaper than the ones I found. Not quire the size I would like but good enough I guess. The App will not cut it for me, I need a reliable solution that just runs when I plug a source into it. The displays look good though. Thank you!

Just to be sure: The LTC timecode in accepts an audio signal like the one from the ATEM 2M/E XLR out? It is SMPTE timecode over audio, right?

Does anyone know the best Timecode Reader that would work with Ultrastudio 4K feeding from Premiere or Avid? Wouldnt it just be XLR to RCA, BNC, etc? Do BM devices generate timecode from source or are they passthrough? Thanks in advance.
