I'm looking at getting the Tascam dp-24SD for recording on sets. (I know this isnt really the intended use)
It doesn't have a timecode port, but it does have a midi in and out that has the ability to transmit information about record stop and start (as well as other things)
Is it possible to jam sync via midi in, or is there a product that will be able to read the midi out and generate an external timecode that way?
