My preference is Linux, Ubuntu in particular with Visual Studio Code and Python 3 and Python tools installed.

I also like using a Chromebook for on the go development. :).

Here’s a Chromebook running Linux, and Visual Studio Code and Python inside Linux that I use for on the go. Very light, easy to lug around, long batt life, and cheap. :D

Actually, this is more for if I am doing cloud based app development. Otherwise I will be using my i9 workstation running Ubuntu Linux. IDE is still VS Code.

Hello,
Personally, I'm also leaning towards Linux. I find it more practical. At least, that's my opinion.
