Saturation in current world cup

PostThu Nov 24, 2022 2:33 pm

Hi,

I am watching the first soccer games from the world cup in katar and I feel like the colors are sometimes extremely oversaturated to a point, were the most keepers have no real details anymore in there shirt.

I am streaming on a PC and on an smart tv in full HD and normally, all colors in other media look okay to me, so I would like to rule out the hardware on my end.

I would post a sample screenshot from a game, if this is okay?

i would like to get some feedback from the experienced people around here, can anyone confirm?

I've run into the same oversaturation problem during sports streams. Try adjusting your TV or monitor settings. Look for a "Sports" mode or mess with the HDR settings, which often crank up saturation too much for broadcasts like the World Cup. If that needs clarification, consider asking on sports forums like PIFA Sports vs GMSC.
