Best Mac PDF reader for searching??

Given that the Resolve 18.1 manual weighs in at 4,035 pages and that neither As well-organized as the Resolve Manual is, I find it easy to spend a good deal of time searching the wrong section for what I'm looking for.

Neither Apple's Preview nor Adobe Acrobat have particularly robust search capabilities. Has anyone discovered an Apple PDF reading app that is better at searching out stuff in the manual? By this I mean things like being able to search for a string, not just a word (Acrobat is better at this), regular expressions, or just wildcards?

One more thing I'd like to ask of those of you who are kind enough to point out the answer in the manual by page number: The Resolve documentation team is conscientious enough to keep the manual in synch with the frequent resolve updates, meaning that the page numbers are constantly shifting. If it would be possible to direct us to the appropriate section of the manual, it would be much more helpful, I think.

Thanks,
Ric
