Travelling with V/G Mount Batteries?

PostMon Jan 23, 2023 3:10 pm

Share your experience if you travel by different countries, also by US states with your camera and with your V/G mount batteries.
How you decide which watt to take and how many is allowed off them to carry on bags or checked bags?
And do you print a document where the manufacturer mentions that their batteries are under 100watt, if it will be needed as a proof to show to a TSA agent?

Here in Italy in the airport you should be lucky. Sometimes I need to show the printed regulation from airplane company at the check-in, some other time you can put in the bag battery (under 100w) and you only show them during control to avoid unnecessary delay.
It’s a matter of people… people that often are not aware that a simple smartphone with a usb disassembled cable is enough to detonate a bomb hidden in the 100 ml capsule…
Anyway if a can, I prefer to put in the luggage in the reserved space to avoid this kind of problems.
