PostSun Mar 12, 2023 9:21 am

I have my Studio license in a text file on a Thumb drive. ( Not a Black magic dongle.) I don't know if I lost it or if it has been stolen. is it possible get another license and have the original one cancelled?

If you don't have the original activation card, or an email with the code, then your only option is to purchase it again.

No. That already happened to me once. I keep my activation cards stored in a lock drawer away and do not carry it on me.

I have my original receipt so I'm still ok as far as using the software. I am concerned about someone finding the drive and using the key. I realize I wasn't thinking but that's history now.

If someone finds it and knows what it is, you won't be able to stop them.

It's often said that code is like cash. You drop a $20 in the parking lot, anyone can spend it.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
