ot - adobe's new terms are a worry...

PostFri Jun 07, 2024 4:31 am

now this is an interesting move indeed:

there are so many unanswered questions raised that i have no idea where to start, other than having a / any subscription service having access to your files for whatever purpose looks like a very slippery road to what's yours is mine, and what's mine is mine!

I have moved to GIMP while ago. Last beta version came with several improvements but not expect AI and pro stuff. But i have downgraded myself to prosumer lately so works for me.

So freaking overblown. Although Corporate Adobe generates these situations with their affinity for dense verbiage when trying to be "clear and transparent" .

Over and over.

Read their clarification. They neither have the interest nor have the capacity to steal your images or violate your NDAs.

It's bad enough that they take your own work as hostage for subscription.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.
