Blackmagic Camera for Android - supported Android devices?

PostFri Jan 24, 2025 1:38 pm

Hi

Is there a list of supported Android devices? If so, seems its hidden and not in an obvious place.

Trying to install from play store, its telling me its NOT compatible with any of my Android devices. On my Ipad Pro from Apple Store, it of course installs without an issue, but I would also like it on some of my Android devices. If I can see an official list of supported devices, next time I buy a new Android device I can make sure I buy one that is on the list!

Vivo is unfortunately missing from the list. This is a great pity, as Vivo's X100 and X200 models are real flagships for photo and video. The patent dispute with Nokia has also been settled in the meantime. Is there any chance that Blackmagicdesign will include Vivo in the list? I would be very pleased to receive a reply.

Kind regards

I am just about to buy a Vivo x200 ultra which isn't currently available outside of China but has Google services and Play store as standard. It's a pity that we can not install the app on these leading tech phones. Is there a Beta program where we can sign up to try the app out for compatibility issues?
Thank you
