It is sold under multiple names.. Like Ikan, Feelworld, But all OEM branding ;)

It uses WHDMI technology and converts SDI to HDMI internally. So low latency is possible.. But Range often cut in half of what vendors promise...

Hi Olaf. We have 2 different systems, a budget Holland Mars 4k https://www.hollyland.com/product/mars-4k
which has some latency but is pretty good if you aren't pointing it at someone speaking. Range has been fine too. The other system which has no latency is the Bolt from Teradek. We have the Pro 2000 which has a decent range but is 5 times the price of the Holland Kit. It's been superseded by this https://teradek.com/pages/bolt-6. It really depends on what you need it for.

Hello Thomas,

thanks for your feedback.

According to Xtreemtec, "Hollyland hardware is commonly known they use a cheaper SDI Serialiser chip which is NOT SMPTE compatible. It does NOT send the correct Identify flags for 1080 P50/60 and so a LOT of hardware will NOT accept the SDI signal from the HollyCrap hardware!"
And from your answer, not a good candidate for IMAG !!!

Teradek with bolt6 is overpriced for my use. I regret the lack of middle products :(

We use the Mars 4k system with switchers from Barco, Bmd and Roland without issues. For the price point, it's hard to beat. It's perfect for IMAG if you're using it for crowd or similar shots.

I was a bit suspect about Hollyland initially tbh. I was looking for a talkback system a little simpler than the GreenGo which we also have. The GreenGo is fine but it’s almost Riedel money. I bought the Solidcom M1 8 way system 2 years ago and it’s been pretty bulletproof with better range than the GreenGo which is 4 times the price. Hence when looking for a second wireless camera system, I opted for the budget Mars. The Bolt stuff is mad money but there are often used bargains if you look. I’ve seen decent bolt systems with the sidecar for about €2,500

I intend to use wireless for speaker in conference or singer. So sync lips is preferable...

Thanks for sharing infos on the M1. I'm parsing systems using differents frequencies than gadget/Iot ism band or wifi.
Seems to have 4W connection : I will look how to interface it with constellation.
