I fixed Premiere's handling of RAW (cDNG+ProRes RAW)
Posted: Fri Mar 14, 2025 2:09 pmOld school Blackmagic camera user here - shot a lot of CinemaDNG and basically left Adobe Premiere as it's RAW handling is garbage. Recently I got hold of some ProRes RAW footage and found you can't even change the white balance or ISO in Premiere!
I decided to create a solution, I've made OCTOPUS RAW Studio - https://www.octopuscinema.com/raw-studio. It completely replaces Premiere's RAW processor for CinemaDNG and ProRes RAW.
