Can a wired USB-C selfie monitor be used as a monitor for the Pyxis and now Micro Studio 4K G2?

I think this will work but it won’t have the functionality of a typical field monitor like a SmallHD or similar. IMO, if price is the factor, there are very decent low price options like this one.

The unfortunate thing is that if you’re looking just for a usb-c connection, this won’t work, and so are the other 98% of low cost field monitors in the market.

You can use an adapter like this one… might work. Or if you have an hdmi field monitor, might want to try this adapter for $6 to see if it works first. If not, you can always return it.

Not looking for HDMI monitor.(although good find @ good price)

This particular selfie monitor is USB-C.
That is the interest in this "What if?" episode.

If it works, one can put a loupe on this and make an EVF.

I am always on the look out for small monitors that can be used as DIY EVF with a loupe.
