As already mentioned in another topic, concerning the use of thunderbolt products on a windows-based PC, the choice of the Asus P8Z77 V Pro Thunderbolt seems to be a very good one.

There are also other good motherboards based on the Intel Z77 chipset too !
Gigabyte motherboards have "Dual Thunderbolt Ports".
GIGABYTE's new dual port Thunderbolt motherboards are an exciting innovation, giving incredible performance and are perfect for video and film professionals using Thunderbolt and the PC," said Grant Petty, CEO, Blackmagic Design. "Customers using our wide range of Thunderbolt devices will now be able to choose to work in whatever format they need, giving them the flexibility to build whatever production and post production workflow they need."

Just an FYI that Intel posts all certified host computers and motherboards on this site
http://www.thunderbolttechnology.net and select "products" tab. You then can search for both computer systems and motherboards.

how about any pci cards?

i know you can get firewire ieee1394 and usb cards that gives your pc extra usb or firewire ports but any thunderbolt?

or do they make port splitters that can give you 2 ports from 1?
