Converter DV (Firewire) to SDI (or HDMI) ?
Posted: Wed Feb 27, 2013 8:47 amWhen I read in this forum, there are a lot of poeple working in churches or sports clubs. The often replace old videomixers und buy some ATEMS. The only way to connect their "old" SD-equipment (Cameras, Recorders, Editing-Computers) is using an BM "Analog to SDI" converter or some other "Analog to HDMI-converter".
A lot of this old eqiupment has a digital connection: "Firewire".
But do someone know a "Firewire to SDI" and "SDI to Firewire" (or maybe "Firewire to HDMI") converter for a price of a BM miniconverter ? Why BM don't offer such a device ? It can't be more difficult to devellop as a cross converter.
