H.264 Pro Recorder not being recognized by Video Set Up

Hi Folks!

I work in a library in a university and we have a H.264 Pro Recorder.

I have downloaded the most up to date version of Blackmagic Video Set Up but it doesn't recognize my H.264 PR.

I have it plugged in, (there is no power switch on the H.264 PR, the only way I can tell it is plugged in is because it is warm after being plugged in for sometime, there is no LED to indicate power, is this correct?)

I also have the USB plugged into my computer.

I followed the steps on the manual so is there anything I am missing?

I have attached a picture of the Blackmagic Video Set Up interface saying it doesn't detect any desktop video device. Should it be recognizing our H.264 or do we need to download media express?

If anyone has any ideas we would be grateful for a response

I downloaded Media Express and this recognizes our H.264, so all good
