Decklink Duo 2 configuring 3 out 1 in

I'd like to send an audio signal from a digital soundboard to my Macbook Pro 2023 (M2 chip). I'm already using the Decklink Duo 2 with the Macbook and Sonnet Enclosure to send 3 video signals OUT. But I'd like to use that 4th SDI port on the Decklink Duo 2 to receive the audio signal. I do convert the audio using the BM Mini Converter Audio to SDI and then send the SDI OUT of that box to the Decklink Duo 2 SDI port 4. I also set the Audio INPUT on the Macbook to Decklink 4. The Macbook audio meter does not show any audio being received. What am I missing ?

I understand too that the audio needs to be embedded in a video. I tested this by connecting a PTZ camera to the SDI IN port on the Mini Converter Audio to SDI. The SDI OUT port connected to the Decklink Duo 2. Still no audio on the Macbook.

I think the audio meter cannot display embedded audio. Try using Media Express to capture the SDI port you want, and check the audio meter in Media Express.
