give text faux bold plus outline?

I want to use a font that is too skinny and it does not have a bold version. So I fatten up the text using an outline the same color as the fill. But I also want to add a different color outline to the text to separate it from the background, which would require adding a second outline. Is this possible?

You could try adding a colored Stroke to the text.
