Fairlight question

Hi New here and new to Resolve19.

I'm getting good results with teaching myself using YouTube videos however there is a Fairlight question I cannot find an answer too yet.

Up to now I have been joining video clips together then manually adjusting the sound levels for each clip individually.

I have found out that you can get Fairlight to do this but Not how to do this on individual clips all at the same time.

So do I need to render the video then import the completed video so that the audio is one continuous track and then work on it?

If you know of a video or tutorial for this it would help me immensely.

You can select several clips at once and in the Inspector panel adjust the levels at once.
In Fairlight you can also adjust levels on an audio track basis in the Audio Mixer panel.

If you post some of the YT channels you are watching, we might be able to recommend some more helpful channels. Fairlight needs a bit of time to get into it but once you understand the principles it gets easier.

As a new user you can’t post links due to spam protection.
You can separate the links by putting spaces inbetween so the protection ignores that.

I have worked out how to link audio tracks and am on my way, mainly I need to normalize vocals across many clips.

Next is learning how to auto turn down music when dialogue starts I watched on YouTube video on this but it must have been for an older version of Resolve as I have extra buttons that are not in that video.

Ho hum its a stiff learning curve when your older and your work hasn't been computer based.
