INSTALL DRS 20.XX ON SEPARATE WIN 10 PARTITION?

PostSun Apr 27, 2025 4:53 pm

I've recently replaced my system nmve WD drive from a 500gb to a Samsung 2tb. Btw this sucker screams...getting 5600 MBs over the WD nmve of 2700 MBs.

CyberPower PC
Z690c MB
32gb
Geforce 3060 12gb
3 x 3.2 gen. USB Samsung ssd 2tb for data files. (900MBs)

Here's my quesiton:

Running WIN 11 Home 24h2 on main re-partition of 1.5tb. No issues...

In order to be able run some of my legacy programs like Premiere Pro 4, and Photoshop 4 etc. etc. (yea...I know...stone age... still an old dog trying to learn new tricks...:) I installed a dual boot WIN 10 partition as I had a copy of WIN 10 Professional license available. The WIN 10 200gb (with about 100gb available) partition is the lastest MS update available. All seems to work OK. After much effort finally got the most recent WIN 10 installed, and now it recognizes all necessary drivers, including Nivida Geforce.

Wondering if I can install DRS 20.xx on WIN 10 partition concurrently to learn and experiment while safely leaving DRS 19.3.1 on WIN 11 partition for my work projects? Any known issues running DRS 20.xx on WIN 10 concurrently with DRS 19.xx currently installed/activated on WIN 11?

Or as an alternative, is anybody running a dual boot version of DRS (19, 20 etc.) on Ubuntu Linux, with WN 11 19.xx as main partition as an option?

Btw. with a DRS license how many activation keys are available? And does this violate/cause any licensing issues?

Thanks,

Regs,
