How to check lost license keys?

PostMon Apr 28, 2025 8:31 am

Hello,

I`m using the DaVinci Resolve program.

I`m trying to install the program on a new Mac mini, but I seem to have lost my license key.

The program is already installed and running on my Mac Studio.

Is there a way to check the license key there?

Or should I contact Blackmagic Design to find out?

The sentences may be strange because they were translated using a translator.

If you lost your license key then you are out of luck.
It is not possible to read out the key from your installation.

I don't know if Blackmagic is able to help - probably not.
Saying "Thx for help!" is not a crime.

That’s unfortunate and Blackmagic won’t give you a new key. I have learned this lesson the hard way too. After that I typed the activation key using a dynamo tape and stick it to the bottom of my computer for easy recovery.
