How to install LUTs on Video Assist 12G?

I just got my video assist 12G 5", but am struggling to figure out how to install LUTs onto it.

I've downloaded the latest video assist setup tool, but I get no settings option at all when I open it, it just tells me the software is up to date with no further options:

How do I load custom LUTs onto the video assist on windows?

I'm having this exact same problem. (how to use the "Video Assist Setup" app to manage Luts on the video assist.

But, it looks like the software app only updates the firmware / software of the Video Assist.
To get the lut on the device, you'll need to (from the Video Assist device), use the touch screen and tap the upper right corner of the screens (three lines with circles).
This opens a menu.
tap / touch the "LUTS" menu on the far right of the screen
at the bottom of the luts menu you'll see a "left" and "Right" arrow lines. This stands for transfer. tap those lines / icon.
You should now see the "manage lut" and "import from"

Looks like you can only transfer from an SD card.

To install LUTs to the VA, you copy your LUTS on an SD Card that the VA can read and use the me u on the VA to install the LUTs. There’s no uploading/downloading via a PC or Mac.

A question on this if you don't mind -

Does the LUT apply to the HDMI / SDI outputs?

I love the idea of using the Video Assist to apply a LUT to my monitor for grading purposes, and using the VA for scopes....
