Bigger SD Card for Original Pocket?

PostMon Nov 29, 2021 3:14 pm

Hello, im wanting to buy a bigger SD card for the Original Pocket (not the 4K), right now i have a 64gb card but i want a bigger one that works. i looked in the manual and it says the SanDisk 512Gb is compatible, yet when I go on B&H, some users saying a no card read error occurs. Can someone confirm, what is the biggest SD card that works with the Original Pocket per the manual?

As far as I know, none of the cards listed in the original Pocket manual are available anymore; they've been replaced by newer generations of cards that don't work in that camera.

There are a couple of threads about this on the forum; here's a link to one:

I have tried the Kingston Canvas React cards; quite a few people have reported good luck with them but that wasn't my experience; I had the 128 gig card and it died after a year. The Angelbird cards referred to in that thread work well although they are much more expensive than the other options; they were also in very short supply when I bought mine and you'd have to check with Angelbird to see if they are even still available.
