upload failed

PostSun May 29, 2022 3:06 am

I often get this sign after trying to render a project..."upload failed". What is the problem? What are some other ways to put something on You Tube other than using DR. In the past, I have edited everything on DR and then send it somewhere else. From this other location, I uploads easily, but I can't remember where it happened.

Just render to your hard drive and upload to YT from there in the normal way. I have a dedicated Video folder which I render to and then upload from that.
Pic shows my typical settings with Resolve Studio for rendering h265.

Thanks, this helps. I render it to movies on my Mac by going to "Go/ Home/Movies" When I try to put it on You tube I get these messages. See Screen shots...

I seems like I used to be able to do it this way but not anymore.

Those attachments are in reverse order. I get the one that says "you tube" on it first and the error message last.

I'm not a Mac user so in the dark here, but is it because you have Quicktime Player open rather than just uploading a file straight from your hard drive?

Once it is on my computer (anywhere), I just go to YT and upload the video from there. I forgot that simple step.

What is the difference between H.264 and H. 265. Yours says 265 and mine says 264.

H265 is a newer and more efficient compression codec giving smaller file sizes whist preserving quality. I still have h264 and all the other codecs available if I need them.
