Braw for Varicam LT

Do we expect to have BRaw support for the Panasonic Varicam LT in the future with any of the BM Recorders.

You should ask to Panasonic. Panasonic should allow to share with Blackmagic Design the sensor data’s, color science and many others infos to profile sensor and build brake for this camera.

Braw is a raw codec tailored not only on sensors but also on color science of brand. This is the reasons be cause also if you have a Sony sensor on pocket4k,6k, Ursa bd g2 you not have any Sony output braw at today, mean Sony should not share their color science with Blackmagic Design to profile for their cameras.

I hope for the future that people collaborate more and share all these infos to have more choose to record from any cameras.

Ps anyway a good ProRes 4:2:2 isn’t so bad against compressed codec :-P
