Blackmagic Camera App orientation issue

First off I love this app, I am using it on my iPhone 15 Pro Max and love it with one cavate.

I use this in a Beastgrip Pro, and I orient it upside down when using it with my DJI Ronin SC to offer a better balance having the lens and the majority of the weight central to the center point of the gimbal.

Although the video records in proper orientation the UI in the app is upside down, it will not rotate to be in the proper orientation which makes getting any useful information at a glance pretty difficult.

Is there a means of correcting this that I perhaps missed when combing through the settings?

If not is this slated to be corrected?

Also any plans to enable external recording via USB-C?

The app already records to an external drive via USB-C.. do you have the latest version?

I installed the app yesterday from the app store, so I'm pretty sure it is the latest version.

Is there an option to record to USB-C or will it record there by default if plugged in?

With iPhone 15 pro and pro max u can use an external drive.

I can use a 512Go external storage (SD card) with my iPhone SE 2nd and record on it with the Blackmagic camera app ; see here viewtopic.php?f=18&t=190138

Hi, probably the same way I do it with my iPhone SE ; have a look at my video on Youtube ; sorry links are not allowed here but search on channel "Vous et votre Mac mais pas que" (video in French but English subtitle)

EDIT : I did it with a SD card and not a SSD but the settings in the app are probably the same
