Will Intensity Pro 4k work on a Mac Pro 5.1?

I'm thinking of getting a Intensity Pro 4k for my aging but maxed-out Mac Pro 2012.
It has PCIE 2.0 only, not 3.0. A PCIE 2.0 4x slot has a bandwidth of 2 GB/s, I'm not sure that's enough to capture 4:2:2 UHD @ 24 fps.
Can anyone confirm this works?
