Teranex mini 12G SDI to HDMI drops signal when in UHD

Hi.

Got myself Teranex Mini SDI HDMI to convert sdi for my oled TV

If i have HD timeline in Resolve all works as expected.
When i put monitoring to UHD signal drops.

On computer side i have Decklink Extreme 4k.
Could also be that my SDI cable is not rated for 4k (UHD)

Depends on the length and the type of cable and connectors. You put it to 25P which is basically 6G-sdi ( could have done this also with a Miniconverter SDI > HDMI 6G.

But while 6G is much easier then 12G. It all depends on the cable.

Just replaced HDMI and SDI cables and all is well.

Funny bit in HDMI marketing material was Dolby Vision support.
Marketing has its ways.

Went for custom 12G SDI cable and 8k HDMI cable (Data transfer rate up to 48 Gbps)

All is working as expected now.
