desk top utility

im just getting started and in the desktop utility what do I set the country at I live in uk is ntsc ire

Not sure what your question is, but the UK is PAL. I don't think this really matters nowadays though, just match your camera settings for now.

The Desktop Utility is mostly for selecting the device, (BMD) the input you want to use and the resolution, you can also adjust volume levels, before I start other software I always check in this util if the settings are correct, for my connected source, you should check these settings first on your source device.
Intensity Shuttle, ATEM Mini, Video Assist 5"(mini USB), Hyperdeck ShuttleHD,Analog to SDI mini-converter, software: Davinci Resolve 15 on Sierra, Resolve 18 on Catalina. (Using Apple OS 32 & 64 bit on different MacBook Pro's
