How does it come that there is not valid information about fusion? On youtube all egotrippers who show effects but no one really explain how does it all works. and the videos on blackmagic site are just ridicoulous.
That's a real treasure of manuals, training, and videos ! but what i now notice is: the videos are about DR15 and the PDF's are about DR16.

Correct, training videos are for v15. For a first training they are OK. I would check jayaretv.com (https://jayaretv.com/blogs/lesson), he does explain how to create stuff in Fusion, and the lessons are free...
Also Ripple Training has a good 2-hour basic Fusion tutorial; not free but worth the price in my opinion. It's been updated for version 16. It only covers titles, removing objects, replacing screens, and green-screen compositing, but it does give you a foundation in how node structures work and introduces many of the tools.

But it is worth the effort. Rarely have I found such excellent training material for the software I use. When I will be finished, I will surely have forgotten much of the how-to from the beginning of the tutorial, but I'll know what is possible and where to find help on how. I really appreciate the effort BMD has put into this and their other tutorials.
