Intensity Pro with B365

PostFri May 29, 2020 7:20 pm

Hi,

I just installed an old Intensity Pro card into a reasonably new PC and can't get it to work.

I installed the drivers (Blackmagic_Desktop_Video_Windows_11.5.1), then pluggen the card in.

The firmware update was automatically started after a reboot, but it just hangs for a while and then displays a generic 'update failed' message. The PC hangs on shutdown every single time since I installed the card.

The 'Desktop Video Setup' shows the Intensity Pro, but the 'Video Input' field remains empty. I believe it should show the detected video mode of a connected HDMI source, right? I tried a number of different sources, but can't get anything to show up. 'Media Express' only shows a black window.

Some PC specs:
MSI B365M PRO-VDH mainboard with Intel B365 chipset
Intel Core i3-9100F CPU
Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit Version 1903

Any success in using the Intensity Pro with the B365 chipset? Is there anything I can do to debug and fix the issue?

Any help is appreciated
Sebastian
