How to find Desktop Video Software

PostFri Jun 19, 2020 1:53 am

I purchased the Ultrastudio Mini Recorder and went to download the Desktop Video software. I downloaded the Software Update 11.5.1, but this doesn't seem to be the software - just the update. Can someone please point this newbie in the right direction?

the Software Update 11.5.1 is the latest full software for BMD video I/O

installs the driver, plugins for related software, control panel and media express.
it could ask for a firmware update if the ultrastudio has an older one.

Has your Ultrastudio Mini Recorder been detected ? there is no hardware interface mis match ?
the Ultrastudio Mini Recorder is a Thunderbolt 2 device, (Macbookpro 2012-2015 has still Thunderbolt 2 ) if you have recent equipment, you need to adapt/convert this to, much older equipment will be displayport, that also looks like the Thunderbolt 2 connection.
