Single "multi"-user usage

PostSat Jun 27, 2020 9:28 pm

Hello,

I am new to Resolve and have the followig use case in mind and wonder if that is possible in my setup:

    Two computers (desktop, laptop)
Resolve Studio (installed on both computers)
    One user (me)

Now, my use case:
I want to work on a single project and work on the project from both computers.
I am not switching back and forth as in working on both computers at the same time, I am only looking for, as an example, work on my desktop PC in the morning and the laptop in the afternoon.
Hence, I do not care if the license gets disabled on the inactive computer while I use the other.

Is this use case supported and covered by my single Studio license?

Yes. With a single activation key license you can have 2 concurrent and licensed computers

I tell you all that this is one of the many things I love about BMD Resolve - the understanding that we can have a static workspace and at the same time we are mobile and might be doing the same thing at potentially different places. Thank you BMD for what you do!
