bar of color in video

Hi All.

I hope this is the correct place to post this; if not please let me know and I'll move it.

I have a really old home video (vhs) that I have converted to digital, but in it there is a bar of a mix of green, blue and red... I hope you know what I mean... which I am trying to remove.

I am not sure what this is called in video editing, or I'd research it more, but since I'm not sure... here I am.

How do I remove the bar? Any hints / tips?
