UltraStudio Recorder 3G Mac Canon D70 or 5D not seen

I have the hdmi coming out of my camera (s) going into the Recorder which connected via Thunderbolt 3 to my Macbook but getting no device detected. Running Desktop Video 11.5.1 Mac OS Catalina 10.15.6

Hi jscowcroft, did you get it to work? I had the same issue but by using a thunderbolt grade 40gb/s cable I got it connected. I have another issue now where the video from my 70D is giving me issues. Did you have this problem?

I have not tested it again, but will. I used the USR 3G with no issue on a SONY XDCAM video, by restarting OBS and launching virtual camera, it showed up. HTHs
