Why is it you can get the video hub control for the iPad and not for Android?

Not everyone is hooked on Apple and I'm definitly not buying an iPad just to be able to control the video hub.

I hope Blackmagic design is looking into this. It is much needed.

Ummmm...... you don't NEED an iPad to control a Videohub..... Just a computer with a common USB connector; both Mac and PC's have those.
The iPad app was a bonus.

Well... I too would really appreciate an Android based video hub control app. I run my trucks in anti-apple mode and will continue to do so for as long as I live.

Yes... The video hubs have USB connectivity obviously, and some also have ethernet connectivity. Which is how I control my 40x40 router being that I need to have control from a few different locations. Running it through a wireless router using one of my Android devices would be awesome! Keep in mind... There are far more Android based devices than ipukes out there.

I picked up an extra PC and a 25" touchscreen monitor for around $250. It works extremely well with the full screen PC control app. The 40 button router control panels also work great! I'll also be getting one of the newer panels as well (when they start shipping).

Ps: I love these routers!

We do realize folks out there have strong preferences toward Android or Apple, and at times preference toward both or even neither. In any case, we'd love to have support for the Android platform, and we're happy to take this as a feature request.

As a side note, working toward the goal of having a helpful, constructive forum, and to avoid any arguments being sparked, we'd ask community members to keep any bashing of platforms or hardware to a minimum. Just trying to cut anything off before it has a chance to get started ;)

Thanks for your kind words about the Videohubs, and we'll log your request!
