exchange of downloads without any information???

why is BMD not communicating when they are secretly replacing software (installer)
and not sharing what the differences are?

I have noticed this for some time.

last with the ATEM software:
original 8.6 build from feb 12
now the downlaod 8.6 is a build from feb 22

I fully agree
Build version is nice to share, but is really an internal/alpha/beta cooperation level thing, not a public info to normal customers
Public version number on download pages/links should have static content !!!

Please BMD state your policy on this
By 'hiding' changes under same version number and hiding what's modified/why modified you generate a lot of 'noise', and lots of users spend stupid time trying to catch up
Please always update software with a new version number!
