Trigger for BMPCC 4K

PostSat Jul 10, 2021 11:27 pm

Has anyone managed to purchase a bluetooth remote for the BMPCC 4K? The iPhone App is great but clumsy to use on a stabilizer (MOZA Air 2). I've seen the CDA-Tek PBC but it sells for over $1K Cdn and several other concepts that don't seem to have materialized (Litty, which seems to have fizzled)

Portkeys make some great stuff for controlling your camera without having to touch your camera.

There's the Keygrip

And the newer Monitors like the BM5WR, BM5 III, and LH5P.

Otherwise, I haven't really seen anything else.

Your Moza gimbal should be able to control some of your camera settings but for focus control, these monitors act like you're touching the back of your camera screen.

Does port Keys have any wireless options?

Yes, the BM5WR says it can control the Blackmagic cameras over Bluetooth

“ Support Bluetooth paired and camera control BMPCC 4K, 6K, 6K Pro.”

You’ll have to look at it on Portkeys website as I do not think I can post links to other sites in my replies.

for wireless video with portkeys monitors you have to use also
a videotransmitter, or HDMI connection.

her are the functions of the camera control:

and also the control for the tilta nucleus N + M is possible (not smooth):

I've been wondering about the focus control for the Tilta N + M. Anyone here actually used it? Wondering what your impressions are. Just smooth equates to jerky??? or just slow response?

the response in connection with a touchscreen is not the best
but the A-B programming is working well

i use the BM5 II with BT-1 modul and the LH5H with the nucleus -N sometimes in different situations.
