Would you buy a "mini" hyperdeck shuttle?

OK, so i started poking this thought around, and it looks like there's a market for what i'll describe:

I value my rig being small, i shoot on a C100 and i don't like to have many bits hanging off of it. It is because of that, that i just never plunged into an external recorder. the shutter is just too large, i almost bought a ninja2, but it just never could get me to hit the buy button as i don't always need an extra monitor.

So i'm wondering, we know that the size could be smaller, just look at the nanoflash. What if BM ripped out the battery(or cut it down 70%), the SSD slot, and the SDI ports from the hyperdeck shuttle, maybe even switch to hdmi mini as well. And just made it as small as they possibly can, with an SD card slot, or CF 2, either can handle the high bitrates of DNXHD with easy.

What would get me into an external recorder, is side, and easy. set it and forget it. i would always have the onboard running backup as well, so all i'd need is a tally light to know it's running. And yes, hdmi triggering would be a must.

Why get id of the sdi? well, if it doesn't affect the cost/size, sure leave it in there, but my main thought is to all the DSLRs, C100, etc... that have a purposefully clean uncompressed hdmi output.

And as for a battery solution, im not aware of BM ever getting into including battery mounts, but they should really get with the times and start making some slimline sony/canon battery mounts that pretty much every small accessory out there uses.

So who has a similar interest? if enough people do, they might just have a listen.

So no, no interest in such a thing?
