Desktop Video and Can't Detect Devices

PostSun Sep 19, 2021 5:12 pm

Good afternoon all!
I need some assistance. I updated the Desktop Video Set Up to version 12.1.
With this, it can't see my:
Decklink Quad Card
Decklink 2 Duo Card

I am running it on a Windows 10 Pro System that exceeds the minimum system requirements.

I've even tried reverting to prior versions with no luck.

Can anyone walk me through the steps I need to take to get these cards back in line? I know I am missing something, but after pulling out my hair for 3 hours on this, I'm waiving the white flag.

Uninstall Desktop Video with the Windows Control Panel - Programs and Features panel.

Then look in the C:\Windows\System32\drivers folder for any of the following files:

If any of those are still there, delete them, then install Desktop Video 12.1 again, and hopefully it will be working.

Please let us know what you find.
