We have an UltraStudio Recorder 3G. All we want to do is use the output from our Panasonic AG-CX 10 camcorder's output (either HDMI or SDI) to go INTO the UltraStudio and then onto a fast SSD. We have a fast SSD. When I hit record, nothing gets recorded. Admittedly, the menu of the camera does not give any other option than the dual SD cards for recording. But that's just the internal recording. Why does the output from the camera's HDMI and SDI not work? When we hit record, the SSD has nothing on it. I thought that was what the UltraStudio recorders were supposed to allow.

The Ultrastudio Recorder 3G is designed to capture to a computer via Thunderbolt 3. It is powered via USB and will not work just being plugged into a portable drive without a compatible computer in-between.
