Intensity Pro 4k and MSI Z170-A PRO (MS-7971)

MSI Z170-A PRO mobo is not on BM's certified HCL of supported motherboards (while Asus Z170-A Premium is there):

Any experience if Intensity Pro 4k on MSI Z170-A PRO will work?

Possibly with Linux running on this combo?
