UltraStudio DISCONTINUED for M1

After calling support to find out why Desktop Video Setup would not recognize any of my BlackMagic capture cards despite me following the troubleshooting steps perfectly I learned something awful.

Apparently BlackMagic have discontinued support for the UltraStudio MINI Recorder and UltraStudio Express on all M1 Macs.

NOTHING you can do will make them work EVER.

I am FURIOUS.

Bu hey, at least I don't have to use their awful website design anymore.

Good bye BlackMagic and good riddance.

no one is forcing you to buy a new computer in order to acquire newer software or hardware.

here you can not blame blackmagic, because here as with many other manufacturers of
hardware and software components can no longer be addressed by a new concept where
various instructions or APIs are no longer available.

think about this once.
