May be a silly question but.....does this unit show on any of its screens the resolution and frame rate of the video being viewed? I understand is senses a wide range of formats but will it tell you what you are seeing?

There is no indication of the video format being displayed on the SmartScope Duo. That function would be limited to only the UltraScope series.
