This issue has been buggin' me for almost 2 years now. Ever since of the previous updates. I don't remember which one was it (like 2-3 years ago).

I use the card to capture video game consoles. I am fully aware of a need to match resolution, correct cable hook up, HDCP and all that stuff. The problem I have is with HDMI IN Port / Card. As a sound card i use MOTU Ultra Lite MKII.

When i'm tryin' to capture video using HDMI IN the card is not reliable. Sometimes it will not see any incoming signal, sometimes the Audio is lost, the other time it requires a full restart of my computer. Mind that using the same exact connection, the card sometimes works sometimes it doesn't. This is not HDCP issue, i've checked. This problem doesn't exist when using component cables. The HDMI IN is just a mess on this card.

Can i get some help please ? Is this perhaps a conflict with my sound card or something else.

Have you tried it on another PCIe slot? It could possibly be be an issue with that port itself. Maybe check for a motherboard update for them if it happens in another slot as well.
