Video Capture and Instant Playback
Posted: Fri Nov 22, 2013 5:37 amI am looking for advice and direction on how to connect a camcorder to my Macbook Pro, capture video on the Macbook, and then share it instantly on multiple tablets and smart phones over a private wireless network.
Basically, we will have one person recording video and capturing it in one location in the building, and I want multiple people throughout other parts of the building to be able to access the video on their tablets, smartphones, etc immediately after the video is captured by connecting to a private network we will set up. My thought is I could do this with the UltraStudio Express or maybe even the UltraStudio Mini wired between the camcorder and my Macbook, and then share the captured video through a shared external hard drive like an Airport Extreme connected to my Macbook.
Any thoughts on whether or not this will work? Anyone have any experience doing this? What apps for IOS and/or Android would work for connecting to the hard drive and playing the video?
