What are the downsides of C-mount Lenses?

For instance what downsides are there using say a Computar 12.5-70mm f1.2 c-mount lens which goes for around $150 compared to using a modern lense such as the sigma 18-35mm f1.8 with a speebooster, which goes for $1220.

Sharpness, chromatic aberration, color, contrast, edge sharpness... There are many differences that you might or might not appreaciate.

Plus the fact that you will most likely get extreme vignetting.
